Thanking a Daycare Provider

E recently transitioned out of the daycare he'd be attending since he was 13 months old. He went to this home daycare two days a week for over 2.5 years! I wanted to do something nice for his care provider.

I found a lovely poem "They Will Remember" by Eileen Koscho and put together this pdf (7 7/8" x 10 7/16") to print on cardstock, trim and have framed in an 8"x10" frame. Download HERE.

They Will Remember
by Eileen Koscho
I take care of your children.
I love them.
I teach them.
I clean them, and I feed them.
And when nighttime comes,
my heart worries about them.
I take care of your children.
I see their first steps.
I hear their first words.
I share their happiness, and
I feel their hurts.
I take care of your children,
as if they were my own.
And when they are grown, and
no longer need me,
My love will be a part of them
deep within the heart of them.
They will know that I was there for them unconditionally.
And they will remember!
I decided on a fancy floral arrangement by Lilies White who were super accommodating in my last minute order and who made a truly unique arrangement!

I think a homemade card is always a nice finishing touch. If a homemade card isn't appreciated by an Early Childhood Educator than who can really understand the love behind it?
