Playroom Storage - bookshelf

I've been feeling like the tall bookshelf was one area in our relatively organized playroom that was just collecting things and not really being used properly. You can see the top two shelves in the photo on the left are full of things piled on top of each other.

In the photo on the right you can see the bottom three shelves easily reachable by E. Bottom now holds word puzzles, construction paper, and dino activities. Above that is a shelf of books. Above that is the playdough, colouring books in the middle and on the right, Crayola Color Wonder markers and colouring sheets.

On the very top of the bookshelf is his easel which has markers that are not easily washed out of clothing. Top shelf nowholds stamp sets and finger paints on the left and activities that require parent supervision on the right. The next shelf down would require him to bring over a chair to stand on, and hold the other art supplies (crayons, markers, stamps, glue) on the right and some items we usually keep separate for when we travel on the left.

Not a huge visual transformation maybe, but a much more useful arrangement!
