E's Room Make-Over

Back in September we were painting the new baby's nursery. Since we knew we wouldn't likely want to paint again for a while and I had a fun project in mind for E's room we decided to paint his room as well. This way the base coat for the project would look fresh and we wouldn't have to re-do the whole thing again in a couple years.

The blue wasn't the exact colour I had imagined but it's grown on me.

AFTER

Thanks to the lovely Eileen for the awesome birch trees! E loves them, as we all do :) E's Christmas present from us was the fun "stone" carpet. I especially like that it doesn't have a straight edge but is rounded around each stone.

The only thing left is to hang a really neat owl clock to the left of E's closet door. Sadly, it's already been 6+ months... hopefully it will make it to the top of the To Do List soon!
