E's First Haircut

Eight months in the planning, and I finally picked up the phone and made the call. Little E had his first hair cut at 2 years and 7 months of age.

It was a pretty serious affair. Little E wasn't sure what was going on, but wasn't scared or upset. He sat solemnly through the whole thing, answering the hairdressers questions with a clear "Yes" every time she tried to engage him. He was more interested in watching the other people having their hair cut than worrying about where his beautiful locks were going. 

I will definitely miss his long hair and messy curls, but having it out of his eyes will be great. He looks so grown up now - guess I'll have to face reality!
