Mom's 60th Birthday Party

We celebrated my mom's 60th birthday a few years ago and I thought posting the details of our party might give some ideas to another family. It can be harder to plan a party for the people who usually host the gatherings.

Of course, the most important part of any significant birthday is the invitation list, it's what makes the day truly special.

Decor:

We went through the family photos albums, scanned everything in and played a slideshow of photos of my mom on the tv throughout the party.

We decorated with spring flowers, balloons and banners.

Food:

My dad ordered food from a local shop. We had sandwiches, fruit, veggies, chips, caesar salad and lasagna. We also enjoyed a cake from a local bakery.
