Dec. 9 Christmas Painting
E and a friend did some finger painting :)
Dec. 10 Snow Time with Dad
We had a great dumping of snow and E had a really fun time shovelling and playing in the snow with Andrew while I went to a Women's Breakfast at church with T.Dec. 11 Friends of the Family Holiday Get Together
Really enjoy catching up with some friends from university every year at this time :) We slept over in Toronto which is always a challenge with a 3.5 year old and a newborn - but worth it for the time spent with friends!
Dec. 12 Preschool's Christmas Family Fun Night
Preschool put on a really fun night. The kids each received a small faux Christmas tree and then made a number of decorations to put on it. After that, a singer led the group in a number of Christmas songs, having the kids play a number of rhythm instruments. It was a great night!
Dec. 13 Icicle Bath
This is something E really enjoys. We have a large number of icicles hanging from our roof right outside our bathroom window. We grab a few (one at a time) and play in the bath!
Dec. 14 Outdoor Christmas Tree at Night
Finished our outdoor decorations (that were put up the weekend of the first Sunday in Advent - Nov 27) by putting out our lights for the evergreen at the front of our house. We actually did it after dark and it was fun to have our Christmas lights on while doing this.Dec. 15 Toy Drive (just in time)
Andrew's work was holding a Toy Drive for new toys. E did really well with this concept of giving away toys as a gift, though he would have loved to keep them since I bought things we didn't own yet.Dec. 16 Chocolate-covered Candy Cane Ice Cream Bar
